A magnetic phone mount for your golf cart that needs a flat steel surface. The flat bar holds by magnet, so it sticks only where a magnet holds: it does not hold on aluminum, plastic, fiberglass, or round or curved tubes; check the exact spot on your cart first. The mount is aluminum alloy and ABS plastic in black, and you choose one head: a Phone clamp that closes to 2.8 in (7 cm) and opens to 4.1 in (10.4 cm), or a round Magnetic plate for phones or cases with a built-in magnetic ring. Each order is one mount: the magnetic bar plus the one head you choose.
What it does
- Sticks to a flat steel surface with six disc magnets inside the bar, as pictured.
- Holds the head on a 17 mm (about 0.7 in) ball joint at the end of a 1.2 in (3 cm) stem, so you can turn and tilt the phone; a knurled nut on the head tightens the joint, as pictured.
- Phone clamp head: closes to 2.8 in (7 cm) and opens to 4.1 in (10.4 cm), for a phone, in its case, from about 2.8 to 4.1 in wide.
- Magnetic plate head: a round, flat plate for phones or cases with a built-in magnetic ring. Other phones need a metal ring on the phone or case, which is not included.
- Moves with you: lift the bar off one steel spot and set it on another, such as the steel frame of a gym machine.

Use & care
Check the parts when your order arrives: one magnetic bar and the head you chose. Wipe the steel clean and dry and set the whole bar flat against it; it will not sit flat on a round tube or a curved panel. Loosen the knurled nut, turn the head to the angle you want and tighten the nut again. With the Phone clamp, open the arms, set your phone in and close them on its sides; with the Magnetic plate, place a phone or case with a built-in magnetic ring on the plate. Mount it where it does not block your view or your hands on the wheel, and do not handle your phone while the cart is moving. Take the phone off before you drive over rough ground. Wipe the mount with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
