A felt jigsaw puzzle mat that rolls up, so you can clear the table between sessions and unroll the puzzle where you left it. The mat is about 26 × 46 in (66 × 116 cm) and has layout guides printed on it in white for 500-, 1000- and 1500-piece puzzles; the largest guide is 35.4 × 23.6 in (90 × 60 cm), as pictured. Choose black, gray, green or royal blue felt at the same price. Each order is one puzzle mat, folded in a plastic bag: the sorting trays, straps, pump and carry bag that appear in some photos are not included.
What it does
- Rolls up with a puzzle in progress on it. The felt does not lock the pieces in place, so roll it gently around a round core such as a cardboard tube, keep the roll lying flat and expect to press a few pieces back when you unroll it. No core or straps are included.
- Printed layout guides for three puzzle sizes: 500 pieces at 19.3 × 13.8 in (49 × 35 cm); 1000 pieces at 22.1 × 22.1 in (56.2 × 56.2 cm), 29.5 × 19.7 in (75 × 50 cm) or 32 × 16 in (81.3 × 40.6 cm); 1500 pieces at 35.4 × 23.6 in (90 × 60 cm), as pictured. - Felt margin for loose pieces: with the 1500-piece guide in the middle, about 5 in (13 cm) of felt is left at each end and about 1.2 in (3 cm) along the long sides.
- Four colors with the same white guides: black, gray, green and royal blue, all the same size, weight and price.
- Stores flat or rolled: at about 15.9 oz (450 g) the mat folds into a drawer or rolls into a bag. It ships folded in a package of about 11.8 × 17.7 × 1.2 in (30 × 45 × 3 cm).

It ships folded, so unfold it on a table and leave it flat for a day; a few books on the fold lines help. Keep the plastic packaging bag away from children. Lay the puzzle out inside the guide that matches its finished size and use the felt margin for loose pieces. To put a puzzle away, roll the mat gently around a round core such as a cardboard tube, starting from a short edge, and store the roll lying flat; a roll stood on its end lets the pieces slide down. Brush loose dust off with a dry cloth or a lint roller.
