A pen-style pet toothbrush that carries its own cleaning gel. Twist the base and a small amount of dental gel flows into the soft brush tip; then brush gently along your dog's or cat's teeth and gumline. One pen, no separate tube of paste. As a dog toothbrush it is a pen rather than a finger brush: the brush tip sits on a twist-base gel pen, and it is made for dogs and cats.

What it does

  • Soft brush tip with a built-in gel reservoir: twist the base to dispense.
  • Pen-sized handle that is easy to angle inside a small mouth.
  • For dogs and cats, for routine at-home brushing.
  • Gel ingredients are listed below.

Your questions, answered

Is this a finger toothbrush?

No. It is a pen: the brush tip sits on the end of a twist-base gel pen, so you hold the pen rather than wearing a brush on your finger.

Does it come with toothpaste?

Yes. The pen contains its own dental cleaning gel; twisting the base pushes it into the brush tip.

Can I use it on a cat?

Yes, it is made for dogs and cats. Start with short sessions and let the cat get used to the brush.

Is this a substitute for veterinary dental care?

No. It is a home brushing tool, not a diagnostic or medical device. Talk to your vet about your pet's dental health.

Ships within the United States from a U.S. warehouse; typical delivery 3–8 business days.

A pet toothbrush pen that carries its own dental gel

This pen-style toothbrush for dogs and cats has a soft brush tip fed by a twist-base gel reservoir. Turn the base, a little cleaning gel appears in the bristles, and you brush gently along the outer teeth and the gumline. No separate tube of paste and no brush to wear on your finger: hold the pen, angle the tip, and keep the session short.

  • Twist to dispense

Turning the base pushes gel into the brush tip. Dose a little at a time.

  • Soft brush tip

Fine, soft bristles sized for a small mouth. Brush lightly; the gel does the spreading.

  • Pen grip

About 5.2 in (132 mm) long. Easy to angle toward the back teeth without a bulky handle.

  • Gel included

One pen with its dental cleaning gel. Ingredients are listed on this page.

    Brush tip

Gel flows into the bristles, not onto your fingers

The gel travels through the pen into the brush head. You brush with the tip and keep your hand outside the mouth.

    Short sessions

A few strokes along the gumline, then a break

Lift the lip, brush the outer surfaces of the teeth with light pressure and stop before your pet gets restless. Build up over days.

    • 1. Let your pet sniff

Offer the pen to sniff and lick so the smell of the gel is familiar before it goes near the teeth.

    • 2. Twist the base

Turn the base a little at a time until gel shows in the bristles.

    • 3. Brush the gumline

Lift the lip and brush the outer teeth and gumline with light strokes. Keep the first sessions to a few seconds.

    • 4. Wipe and cap

Wipe the brush tip, replace the cap and store the pen in a cool place away from sunlight.
