Use & care
Hold the violin face down, hook the feet over the lower edge of the back at the tailpiece end, and press gently until both feet grip the rim. Adjust each foot to raise or lower its end and change the angle until the violin rests where your chin and shoulder want it. Take the rest off before the violin goes into its case, wipe the pad and feet with a dry cloth, and check the foot tips now and then so they do not mark the finish.
